Withdrawing enrolment

If you wish to withdraw your enrolment in a course you need to do so through Access Adelaide.

Note: you need to be aware of the critical dates involved in withdrawing as post census date you will still be liable for payment of course fees, and the courses you enrolled in will be recorded on your academic transcript which may have consequences for your Grade Point Average (GPA).

Remission of Commonwealth Assistance and recredit of Student Learning Entitlement

If you cannot withdraw before the critical dates due to special circumstances or administrative error you may be eligible for remission of fees and recredit of student learning entitlement.

The Student Finance website has information for Commonwealth supported students about:

  • Application for remission of Commonwealth Assistance and recredit of Student Learning Entitlements (SLE) in special circumstances
  • Instructions for completion of form
  • Remissions policy

Refund of tuition fees in special circumstances

This policy differs depending on whether you are an international or domestic undergraduate or postgraduate fee-paying student who has paid tuition fees for a course or courses and seeks, after the Census date, a refund of the amount paid because special circumstances prevented you from completing the requirements of the course(s).
